RISE
A musical expedition to the future. Cities are in ruins, wars and natural disasters have destroyed the earth, but in between the broken shards, hope prevails.
„We live in a time of uncertainty, but we
must not stop believing in tomorrow.“
Dennis Winke
(Bass)
Survivors rise from
the ruins and unite.
The concept album RISE commits itself to this reconstruction. Despite its grim premise, the songs brim with hope, the desire to make a difference and to create a better world.
Thematically and musically, A Purple Sky sways between wasteland and elysium, between a destroyed present and the vision of a better future. Electronic elements oppose natural sounds and violin solos merge with metal riffs forming a dense, cinematic soundscape, which turns this rise from the ashes into a musical experience.
The band:
- Marliina (Vocals, Sonwriting)
- Sebastian Laue (Guitar)
- Dennis Winke (Bass)

Creating a band project is lots of work. We are label free, organize and pay for everything ourselves.
So if you would like to support us or help us grow, here’s what you can do:
First of all: Share our music with your friends and family.
This helps us to be more visible online which is the biggest problem modern bands have nowadays.
This helps us a lot!
Recommend us to other bands, if they’re searching for support acts
or to venues and people that organize festivals.
Buy our CD or digital download. Unfortunately streaming services don’t pay us musicians well
so if you buy a CD or a download this helps us saving money for our upcoming productions.
If you want to donate to support upcoming
productions, you can do it here:
Thank you so much for your support!
